Home to SSI New Beginnings Festival since 2016, Darling Harbour is located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. We are excited to be presenting the 2024 festival at the iconic Australian National Maritime Museum.

Tickets & walk-ins

Anyone is welcome at New Beginnings Festival, which means we equally accept walk-ins and prebooked tickets via Humanitix.

As this is a popular and free event, we expect the venue to reach maximum capacity at some points during the festival. This means you might have to queue up on the day even if you have reserved a ticket. We recommend you come in early not to miss your favourite artist. We look forward to seeing you at New Beginnings Festival!

Mobility

The Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour is accessible for persons using a wheelchair and for people with mobility impairments. For access information please visit the museum website here.

Public Transport

The Australian National Maritime Museum is easy to get to. Closest train station is Town Hall. Bus 389 from Bondi Junction stops at the front door. Catch the spectacular F4 route from Circular Quay to Pyrmont Bay Wharf, right at the museum, or catch the F3 route to Barangaroo Wharf, a 20-minute walk across Pyrmont Bridge to the museum. The L1 light rail from Central Station, or from Dulwich Hill through the inner west, takes you to Pyrmont Bay stop, right across the road from the museum.

Parking

The closest parking to the Australian National Maritime Museum is the Wilson Harbourside Car Park, 100 Murray Street, Pyrmont. For more information or to book your parking spot click here.

Toilet Facilities

Toilets are located within the venue. Accessible toilets are located on the museum lower level (accessible by lift and walkway) and in the ground level entry foyer.
